This procedure is performed under general anesthesia, using a suspension laryngoscope to expose the larynx, and is completed under microscopic magnification. If applicable, a micro-flap technique can be used to gently lift the superficial mucosa, expose the cyst, and dissect and remove it along the cyst wall, trying to protect the mucosal wave structure and the vocal ligament; after completion, the mucosal flap is repositioned, and hemostasis and local treatment are performed if necessary. Postoperative monitoring of the airway, voice, and swallowing is performed, with the goal of reducing hoarseness and restoring stable vibration.
