Performed under local anesthesia or appropriate anesthesia after evaluation by the anesthesiology department. The physician makes a releasing incision and tissue rearrangement at the phimotic ring, commonly a longitudinal incision with transverse suturing, to enlarge the foreskin opening and preserve tissue; frenuloplasty is combined if necessary. After hemostasis is completed, absorbable sutures are used for suturing and pressure bandaging. Postoperative attention is paid to bleeding, swelling, and urination, and care is performed as directed. The goal is to improve retraction and cleaning convenience while preserving appearance as much as possible.
