After assessing the remaining tooth structure and occlusion, isolation is often performed with a rubber dam or other methods. For resin fillings, the caries are usually removed and bonded with layered filling and polishing; inlays/full crowns require tooth preparation, impression taking or intraoral scanning, temporary restoration fabrication, and then processing by a laboratory or chairside system. After try-in, the occlusion and marginal adaptation are adjusted, and finally, the restoration is bonded/cemented and guidance on care and follow-up visits is provided. The above is general health information and not medical advice; the specific treatment plan should be based on specialist evaluation and the hospital's protocol.
It is recommended to stay for a total of 4–12 days for preoperative evaluation, tooth preparation, and follow-up bonding; if gum shaping, post and core, or occlusal adjustment is required, the time may be extended, depending on the actual arrangement.
