Nerve Transfer

Under microscopic and electrophysiological guidance, a functionally redundant donor nerve or its fascicles are selected and transferred to the target muscle or distal nerve to shorten the regeneration distance. Nerve dissection, tension assessment, and fine-thread suturing are usually performed, with grafting or decompression if necessary. Postoperative fixation and early "relearning" training are carried out to monitor sensation, muscle strength, and pain, with the goal of reconstructing key movements.
