This procedure is often performed based on imaging and endoscopic evaluation, and navigation and absorbable hemostatic materials can be combined if necessary. Typically, an endoscope and special instruments are inserted through the nasal cavity under general anesthesia to remove obstructing tissue and open the sinus drainage openings along natural passages, preserving healthy mucosa and structures as much as possible to improve ventilation and drainage. If applicable, turbinate hypertrophy or adenoids can be treated simultaneously. Postoperative monitoring includes bleeding and pain, with education on nasal cleaning and irrigation, with the goal of restoring mucosal function and reducing recurrent infections. The above is general health information and not medical advice; specific information is subject to specialist assessment and hospital protocols.
Combining preoperative evaluation, hospitalization, and postoperative follow-up, it is generally recommended to stay in China for about 10–18 days; the specific schedule is subject to the actual schedule of the hospital.
Recovery snapshot
Recovery time and follow-up depend on the procedure and your clinical situation. Your hospital team confirms the schedule before treatment, while our coordinators help organise the practical details around it.
